Guest bennish Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 This is probably a stupid question... There are sd fm radios out there but anyone know if there's a minisd fm radio in existence? I'd love one... seems stupid to not be able to listen to free radio. (unless there were a no-charge gprs way which there isn't). Really hate minisd... seems so useless. One thing the Etens have over anything else.
Guest Pigo Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 you can always get unlimited gprs for 10 euros on t-mobile and use it as your internet radio receiver! i listen to jungletrain.net frequently through my vario. Pigo
Guest Laser_iCE Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 Pigo, unfortunately, bennish and myself aren't like you -- we are both from Australia, and because of that, the GPRS prices around here are absolute pants... Oh well, that's what we get -- the ass end of technology including pricing for mobiles and broadband.
Guest ArticIce(Juice) Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 got the same problem... And, by the way GPRS is not only expensive (in some cases), but also rather power-consuming.. ;) (my device will work no more than 8 hours in GPRS/EDGE radio mode)
