When I reboot my phone, I normally have 24 MB in the physical memory,

after about a day it's down to 4-5 MB and the phone is very slow.. Am I

the only one having these issues?

its not so much an issue as a quirk of the system...

I find that i am soft resetting my S100 each time i have run Activesync or at the end of the working day where i have been messaging/task-ing and calendering!

Another memory sapper is t'internet surfing! all the images you see get stored on the phone and swallow megs of memory if you dont clear out every once in a while. I think there is a hack that puts internet files onto your Memory card somewhere on the site...do a search and it should come up!

Each time you run an application - Video/music player, IE, Messenger, games etc, even tho you hit the Close button when you're done, the OS only minimizes it. I'm not sure why, probably a good reason for this but i dont know it!

You can get all sorts of third party applicatons that help get around this but i find just clicking to the memory manager and closing all open stuff or even a quick reboot is fine... Although my toy is PPC so a reboot is quick prod with the stylus rather than a button holding action...

Perhaps it's Windows Media Player. It uses a lot of memory. They've done a very bad job. ;)

The reason is that RAM is faster than Flash.
