Software on a M600

I am trying to put some software on my M600 but I often get the message saying " 'xxxxxx' (software name) is not a valid Pocket PC application."

The software I am installing says it is designed for PPC.

Is there something I am doing wrong? Do I need to unlock the M600 (as I had to with my C500)?

I tried a sudoko game, a wifi finder, ppc profiles, redial 1.00.

Sometimes the installer provided is to be run from desktop. Then the actual PPC software will be installed during activesync session to the PPC.
