MDA Vario

Great website glad i found this forum

I am trying to figure out how i know if my MDA Vario is connecting to the net using my wifi connection or still using the T-mobile connection ;)

i am able to connect to my wireless home network that all to be ok i get a good signal but what i would like to know is when open the Internet Explorer that i am using the wifi connection and not the T-mobile connection just trying to avoid being charged for large amounts of data being received when i thought i was using my wifi connection to connect to the web

Any advice would be grateful

Hi,

I found Pocket Ping useful - it displays your crrent IP when you ping an IP. Best way of checking is to browse to www.showmyip.com, www.ipchicken.com or www.dnsstuff.com - all 3 sites will display your current IP addy...see if it's the same as your desktop PC on your ISPs connection.
