How to stop ringtones...

Alright, heres another thing that I've noticed in Windows Mobile as a whole... It happened in my Smartphone2 and I assume it does with my K-JAM... But when it comes to message ringtones, why on earth do they keep playing when you are reading your message? It would be dreamy if, when you press View/Notification, the tone stops... That way, you could have a longish message tone, and not have to worry about listening to another 20 seconds of song because for once your phone is in your hand and not in your bag!

Please, correct me if I'm wrong in regards to this with WM5, but from my short experience with it, it still does it... Nokias can do it ;) (low blow, I know :P)
