Hard Reset Help

Does anyone know of a way to bypass the screen calibration on hard reset.

Basically my Magician touch screen is cracked. I've been getting by on a temporary basis by using a program which draws an onscreen cursor controlled by the d-pad. But yesterday I let the phone run flat, and now I cant get past screen the calibration bit which renders my phone totally useless.

Any thoughts (apart from 'Get the touchscreen repaired')
