How do I create themes for Windows Mobile 5?

Hi,

I'm trying to create a theme for my Qtek 8310 Smartphone, using Microsoft Theme Generator for Smartphones, but i get the attached error.

Does anyone know of any other free application to create simple .hme theme files for Smartphone with Windows Mobile 5 installed?

Its because you using a developers tool for Pocket PC not smartphone! There are no applications that do this at the moment but you can create you own usin .xml

There is an guide on MSDN or you could use w411y's simplyfied version on MoDaCo there baisically one in the same!

I'm using Smartphone 2002 Theme Generator from Microsoft, as it saids when it's started, but i guess the problem when having WM5 is the real problem here.

I will look into your tips.

But the error in you image suggests its Pocket PC 2002 that its designing them for!
