Problem with sounds on c600

I want to change the ringtone on my phone, but when I go to Settings>Sounds it displays and Error message, saying unable to open.

I've recently installed a new homescreen, but have since uninstalled it, but I still can't access it.

Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?
