Guest deadphill Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 Hi Guys Apologies if this has been answered on a previous topic but I just cant seem to find out why my setup keeps doing this. Last week my house was burgled and the SOBs took all my phones. These are the O2 exec, Samsung i300 and my work phone Orange C500. I have had them all replaced and then sync'd them all back up to my pc but I am now constantly finding that the + in front of the 44 of almost every number has dissapeared for whatever reason. Now I am finding I have to edit a certain contact just so I can dial them. Does anyone know why it does this and if there is a workaround? Many thanks Phill
Guest manveruppd Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 I have the exact same problem. I've tried putting '00' instead of '+' in front of my numbers. Will report back here if the '00' is still there tomorrow. ;)
Guest Shuflie Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 Set your location in widows dialing rules to somewhere you don't have any contacts from, I have mine set to Trinidad and Tobago which is area code 48. Doing this stops outlook messing about with my phone numbers.
