Guest chickenfriednice Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 does this mean I can put the SP5 ROM on my v1240 and if I ever want to go back to the vodafone ROM I can just use this?? I use an Orange SIM in my v1240 and therefore don't want the Vodafone settings and branding! Has Anyone done this yet with there v1240?
Guest Confucious Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 It makes you wonder why Vodaphone are using a hosting company for their ROMS and not puting them on their own site....

Why is it not hosted by Vodafone? I wouldn't trust this although it could well be valid. I will wait for a release which is posted by Vodafone on their own site.

Vodafone.co.uk do link directly to this AKU2 update site See section heading "Upgrade your device - AKU2.0 software".
