TomTom slow startup

My MDA Compact II takes just over a minute to start tomtom.

Is this right? I am overclocked to 240.

What sort of times does everyone else get, not necessarily with this phone.

This sounds normal to me, used to take around that long to boot up on my C550.

Just tested it for you, first time it took 23 seconds to fully load.

Then I soft reset my phone, cos it's about time I did, then tried again and it took 19 seconds!

That's with a wizard (not overclocked / tweaked in any way, yet). Guess mine is just fast! ;)

All depends what free memory you have at the time and what other apps etc you have running in the background

It's taken most of the evening but after a hard reset and re-install of all the things I now use, TomTomnow starts up in about 20 seconds. Great.

My windows folder was also taking ages to open in file manager too. Guess I've installed and un-installed too many things that have left their mark.

I suppose they were all necessary to find out what I wanted to have on my phone.
