iPOD USB Charger - Can it charge the C500

Hi there,

Hopefully this is an easy question.

Can I use the "iPod USB Charger" to charge my C500 without damaging the phone ?

The output of the iPod charger is 5V, 1A. I can't find the specifications for the C500.
