DEAD DEAD DEAD after ROM update.HELP

just did a rom update from XDA and now my 8125 is dead. am i dead? can it be fixed? it won't charge,turn on,tried hard and soft resets and still it seems to be a paperweight. please tell me that i am wrong and something can be done.

Wich one did you use? did you do the upgrade with a full battery? did you get any error mesages when you did the upgrade? can you take it back to the store and play stupid and say it wont turn on and get a replacement?

can you still get into 'boot loader'? if so...it can be saved.

Or we could try and put the advice here.

First thing to try would be a hard reset. To do so press and hold the Voice and Comm buttons before pressing the power button. Then follow on screen instruction to hard reset.

If that doesn't work then try to get to the bootloader screen (hold CAMERA and turn on). From here, with the sync cable plugged in (Activesync won't connect but don't worry about that), you can try and rerun any rom update for your HTC Wizard and it should work.

u guys were great!!! thanks. i finally got it to work. i knew it was not completely dead when i got the red/blue/green screen. after that it was smooth sailing. thnx again from the newbie. i'm sure i will screw something up again, but hey, that's how we learn. just glad there's someone to help ;)
