M600 and Visable Panty Line (VPN)

So here's the thing.....

Been happily connecting to my coorporate VPN using my laptop over a wireless LAN on broadband from home using BELKIN wireless router 54g.

So configuring my new M600 to do the same would be easy and I can then download TN5250 to remotely access my beloved AS400. Right ?...Wrong !

Anyone know how to do this ?. I've created the connection, Specified the CORRECT user name and password for the VPN tunnel (I have checked and double checked)

I have the correct GROUP name and connection name. In fact eveything is the same as my PC. Except I cannot connect. I can connect to the internet ok though.

All I get when tapping and holding the VPN connection, then tapping 'Connect' is ' VPN server problems. Verify your username and password is correct and try again. If the problem continues, turn the device off and try again.' I have rebooted the device, deleted/recreated the connection but nothing.

So any REAL IT people have any suggestions ? !

UPDATE.... Apparently its a problem with TAP and is a problem with all WM5 devices ?
