Contracted to Orange but leaving UK

I have an 18 mnth orange phone contract that doesn't expire for another 10 months but I'm going to live in Holland in less than two months. They say I can't transfer the contract to another country. My friend suggested closing the bank account before I leave but I'm sure that would have some repercussions. What is suggested?

Worst comes to worst you can have them freeze the account - tell them you're going on holiday. I think the longest they keep it frozen is 6 months. Better than nothing though right?

The only real scapegoat for this is to transfer the account into somebody elses name and they become the account holder & pay all the bills etc.

you shouldve known if you were moving away...but if you didnt then if your not far too in your contract, orange should understand (but they dont)
