Wierd POP Client Behavior

hi

I have the following things happening with the Email Client on my Vario.

I empty and delete an account and it reappears after soft reset.

I recieve email for the day and as i look at the screen all the new email ( in bold coz its not read yet) disappears.

I cannot download new email ( hence deleting the account and reinstating it)

is anyone els having this stuff going on?

Yes and No

If you add/delete an account I find it's best to suspend the device before doing a Soft Reset, apparently this writes stuff to the registry etc and stops it forgetting/reincarnating the account.

Emails disappearing before your eyes are probably caused by some other device downloading emails and removing them from the POP mailbox. The Inbox on your device will match whatever is on the server - deleted emails (if any) will be removed and new ones (if any) added

Yesterday I had a weird thing with an email attachment.

I downloaded my emails (only one new email), downloaded the attachment, saved the attachment (a Word document) and made some changes to it.

When I went back to my Inbox some time later the email wasn't there. Because I'd saved the attachment I still had that, but the original email had gone.

I checked the mailbox and it had gone from there too. Very odd, but I think somehow (maybe a soft reset) the new email was deleted by Pocket Outlook. There used to be an issue like this on Smartphone.

started again

there is no other client picking up my mail (gmail)

i setup a new account on the vario and it downloaded mails from 21st ( 2 days go) and 1 from 3 minutes ago.

it went to auto send and recieve and they all disappeared.

gmail ont web still shows them there.

i give up

also i deleted this account decided to not mess any more and hibernated and reset and guess what? account is no gone! SO is txt messaging.#

I can wait for the imminent t-mobile release but cannot work without txt so i will have to hard reset.
