Guest chucky.egg Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 (edited) I'm thinking about restricting access to Settings on our WM5 PPCs for most users, but I still want them to be able to change ringtones (perhaps themes too, undecided on that ATM) [edit] I've created shortcuts to the Control Panel items I want, but now I want to be able to use the CP icons for those items (or failing that some other icon set) I'm in over my head here [/edit] Edited May 22, 2006 by chucky.egg

Guest Confucious Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 Chucky, can you give people time to read your questions before answering them yourself ;) Thanks for the answer though - could come in useful.
Guest chucky.egg Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 I need to get out of the habit of posting and then Googling... /smacked wrist
Guest Confucious Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 But if you googled first you'd probably not bother posting the answer, then we'd all miss out ;)
Guest chucky.egg Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 OK - I *have* googled this, but didn't find anything useful I've used the above links to create shortcuts in my Start Menu, but they all have the default "No Icon" Icon. Is there a way that I can use the icons that appear in Control Panel? How do I access them - a quick scan of ctlpnl.exe seems to show no icons
