XDA Exec Pictures and Videos prog

Does anyone know how to make built in Pictures and Videos progam on the XDA Exec load pictures from the SD card when it runs a background slideshow?

I have mine set to show a slideshow whenever I am attached to the PC by USB and the XDA is idle. The problem is that it only goes through the pictures in main memory (in My Pictures). Obviously I don't want to fill up main memory by storing all my pictures in it when I have a perfectly good 2GB SD but I cannot find a setting to use the card for the slideshow.

Can anyone help me out?

(I should say that I am able to manually start a slideshow from the card. It's only the "slideshow on idle" setting which escapes me)
