Guest gemidriver Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I would like to know if there is an application that can be used to close programs when exiting. I would like to be able to close applications straight after using them, rather than having to go to task manager and closing them from there. I have an Imate SP5. There is an application called Magic Buttons which works on a Qtek, but does not work for sp5 Any help
Guest nick_d Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 there's an app i use on mu imate sp2 called quickclose...it's supposed to also work on wm5 devices too...basically click on it and anything gets shut down asap.

No good champ, doesn't work says it's not digitally signed. And pretty similar to going to the task manager anyway..

Guest scottb Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 Magic Button can be found here: http://www.trancreative.com/mb.aspx
Guest genaldar Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 Oxios close app is great, but it closes all apps. You could try sp task manager http://www.binarys.com/default_en.asp. It lets you close apps individually.

Guest conan_troutman Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 on the ball conan_troutman...exactly what i looking for...just a matter of finding it.. www.oxios.com you want oxiios memory installed once installed you get two icons in you accessories box one looks like a snow flake this gets you any redundant memory back the other looks like a skull this closes applets some times it looks like it hasnt worked but it has reason depends how memory intensive the program was if uses hardle any it just closes if it takes time to sht down you get the times icone center screen if its a big memory user it shuts down then runs the snow flake icon for you retrieing memory. you can always use the snow flake one again to retrive more either hot key them to * and # key or what i did was use facade launch bar and have them inthere as an option to run
Guest Qtek8310 Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 (edited) either hot key them to * and # key or what i did was use facade launch bar and have them inthere as an option to run I can't select * and # as a hotkey on qtek 8310. I now set it to 11 and 22 hotdial. The only disadvandtage is that the phonenumber dialmode don't dissapear itself. EDIT: Pressing # in homescreen shows the SIM contacts! Nice feature Edited May 29, 2006 by Qtek8310
