Guest fox66 Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 OK, I have seen LOTS of stuff about this on the internet, but never a simple explaination or fix I have a C600 works with activesync fine - I set mine up BEFORE i put SP2 on exchange. NOW - my boss wants his C600 to activesync as well - not a chance Get error 85010004 Surely this must have something to do with SP2? never had any trouble with mine, even after SP2. Trying to sync over USB. Any ideas before i go totally mad? ;) :P ;) ;) Thanks
Guest jimbouk Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Has his pc got a firewall that is blocking the connection through to the server?
Guest fox66 Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 Has his pc got a firewall that is blocking the connection through to the server? Nope Incidentally, an spv C600 (mine) that was working just fine, now will no longer sync its calendar with exchange! everything else is just fine and dandy. Reset my phone back to factory, uninstalled/reinstalled activesync. Calendar will just not go! beginning to wonder if all this is worthwhile..... :) :) ;) :D
Guest fox66 Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 IT EVEN SAYS IT HAS SYNCHRONISED WHEN QUITE CLEARLY IT HASNT!!!! :) :) ;) This is when I have turned off all items except calendar!!
Guest fox66 Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 As an update - if i change an appointment or add one on my phone it gets copied to the server. If I add one via my PC, it does not get sync'd to my phone. If I delete one on my PC that was added via my phone, the deletion gets copied to my phone. AAAARRRRGGGG Its like the phone has to know about it first. Jeez :) Pls, anyone got any ideas?????? Thx I am going for a beer
