what application are involved in pimsync and sms?

Is wondering what applications (exe files ) are involved in the pim sync and sms on a smartphone wm 5.0

Is there a list somewhere on what exactly is started and whats used on the phone??

in the taskmanager its a little too high up .

For example..activesync.exe is not to be found on a phone or is it renamed?

but AS is invovled in syncing exchange right?

So is it renamed in the systems catalog or??
