Guest spirit_SLASH Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 hi there, i have an SPV E200 i was tryin to call someone ,but my phone always gives me the "busy" tone, i tried calling other ppl, but it still gave me this busy tone, i called my friend (sitting next to me...not talkin on his cell) but still, i get the #$!@& "Busy" tone :@ so,i called from another phone my SIM card provider, and they checked up on my SIM card and said there was no problem with the SIM card and the problem might be in the cell phone. and btw, I can receive calls&messages,and send msgs, but cannot call anyone. i checked the "call baring" in the phone settings, both were off so plz, can ayone help me URGENT URGENT URGENT I'can't stand it anymore, plz someone help me :) :'(
Guest martin Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 This is often caused by accidently setting line 2 for outgoing calls on the phone. Line 2 might not be supported or activated on your account hence the tripple tone. Check if there is a 1 or 2 next to the signal bar when on the homescreen. You can change the outgoing line back to 1 by either holding down the # key or going to Settings-Phone-Call Options. If you were to get call failures on line1 then it's possible that the phones IMEI is barred :)
Guest xda_gangsta Posted May 26, 2006 Report Posted May 26, 2006 I would say just do a quick hard reset, I think that happen to me once before on my C500 then I simply restarted the phone.. do a hardreset, let us know if that works!

Have you checked whether you can receive incoming calls to the phone ?
