changing sms tones

any ideas about changing sms alert on spv c500 i know how to get ring tone changed in storage/appdata/sounds, is it possible to change sms to mp3 sounds for example

I use rjv ringtone setter (http://www.airfagev.com/index.asp you can just search for ringtone setter). It's free and works great.

No problem, I was lucky enough to find out about that little program over at howard the first weekend I had my mpx220. It is damn near perfect. Now if only it would include support for setting ring tones for contacts then it would be.

They've got some other nice programs over there you might want to check out. Especially the stuff by rjv (site's maintainer I think). Great voice notes program, I never figured out how to remap my voice notes key to any other program so I stopped using it, but it was better than the built in one. Also iMenu, allows for cross app copy and paste along with a few other nifty tricks. Of course I don't think it does anything wm5 on a touchscreen doesn't do already, but its great on my phone.
