That the address my C600 gets when connected via ActiveSync

Where does it get this from?

Its the same address wether in the office or at home

both networks have DHCP, on different networks

(192.168.42.x and 192.168.1.x)

get I get the phone to grab an address from the dhcp server?

the address is assigned as a private IP automatically by ActiveSync - it has its own fixed/set private internal DHCP and gives the phone a DHCP

to get the phone to grab an IP from DHCP - i dont think its possible as the C600 does NOT have wifi - wifi connections obviously need DHCP to access the internet/network etc... therefore if the workforce has it, or even your home network (router) then yes it can be done and assigned.
