Guest robs23 Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 hi! I'm going to the US soon and I wonder which GSM Service Provider choose? I visited T-mobile site, and I couldn't find any information if there I can buy a starter kit WITHOUT phone (I have my own, so why should I overpay for new one?:)). I'm not determinated to choose T-mobile, any other provider is possible! That what matters is signal should be strong in Ocean City (MD) and prices of other services (like unlimited internet for instance...). If someone is from US and can help me - I would be very grateful :)!

But I do know that you can get a Cingular pre-paid connection without buying any phone, I have done this in the past. Cingular has a $20-a-month unlimited data plan called MediaNet Unlimited, but I am not sure if that plan is available to pre-paid customers. Pavan
