Hi,does anyone know of a remote control, usb or bluetooth that can be plugged into vario to control tcpmp player. The original headphones have only a volume and talk button but no facility for selecting next /previous tracks,play/pause or anything else.A small bluetooth one would be very nice, dont know if there are any phones that are supplied with one that would work with vario.Thanx

lol i was thinkin of doing a similar thing tbh for WMP - but i dont think such a device exists - yet

im actually in talks with one of my university professors about developing such a device or something - even if we can get hold of a wide distributed device would be cool

if you find one - lemme know :)

now i was sking the same thing on another post. i was asking for a piece of software for the c500 to control the vario as i have a c500 to spare. but if there is a hardware type of remote for the vario then i would be just as interested.

maybe your friend could write the software i need for my c500. could you ask? willing to pay :-D (as long as it's reasonable)

you would need a small usb remote control device which connects to the mini USB port on the Vario or smartphone... that would be ideal and is what I am trying to talk about with some ppl

I was looking for the same thing, I have a bluetooth headset with the A2DP profile supported, works all good. Even switches to the heatset profile when a call drops in and that's all good as well.

There are a couple of extra buttons on the headset that can skip tracks, pause, play and stop the music, but these don't seem to work wit MortPlayer or TCPMP

I've even tried the assign key function, but the program simply doens't recognise the buttons on the headset.

Any ideas?

Doesn't MS voice command allow you to skip foreward/backward in a playlist?

Won't work. The USB port on the Wizard is a slave device, not a host. It cannot control USB devices, but it can connect to other host devices and appear on the host device (ie. PC + ActiveSync etc).

Your only chance is to make/find a Bluetooth remote controller which has WM5 support.

Must be some great developers here that can achieve this. right???

Achieve what? Modifying the Wizard's hardware to add the required USB host chips? Or doing it via Bluetooth?
