I was skipping through my files and folders on my Qtek 8310 when I came across two hidden applets in windows not shown in start menu.

one is called fexplorer and the other T9 Settings

the first fexploerer is a file explorer much similar to that on a 2003 decice much easier to navigate than the defualt file explorer in WM5 with shortcuts to My device/My Document/ and Storage card.

sending files via bluetoothor email/mms is much easier to negotiate

and can be view as lists or as grid format. plus any folder you do not want to be able to view (stop you deleting them by accedent) all you have to do is use the default file explorer and got to properties and hide I hid all folder on my storage card (tomtom, Windows(for cf2) Programs)except for My Documents and in fexplore all that show is My Documents. also has a cut copy and paste for moving files and folder around more easily

as for t9 settings

well the best thing about this is you can set a my text all those words you wiched it spelled automaitcally but doesnt well when it learns them this is where they are stored you can use it to add other texts aswell so they are there when you need them.

i put in stuff like email addresses i type first three letter then scroll down and hey presto t9 has the whole addy waiting to be clicked on.

what hidden gems have you found while exploring?

goto file manager

hit menu hit options

untick hide hidden and hide system files

click done

goto Windows

keep scrolling down.

I created a short cut once I found it and put it in my start menu for quick access

please note for other language options open text messages and hold down the *key the T9 options i am refering to are a whole new list not in the T9 menu.

which is why its such a sweet find

Found the program as well but isn't it also accessible just from holding down * then selecting T9 settings, then My Words???

I also remember finding this on my C550, if I remember correctly it also has a 'next word prediction' function
