voice notes ?

any ideas on how to use voice notes as tones etc or send to other phones ? not a big deal i suppose but my wife would like the word perfect recording of our son singing hokey cokey sent to her phone . i prefer him doing satisfaction by the stones myself but hey what do i know!!

Hi Blueparky

The voice notes are stored in \Storage\My Documents\Notes as hidden files so may need to change your file explorer settings to show them.

The voice recorder saves to WAV file with audio format GSM 6.10, 8bit, 8000Hz, Mono which may not be supported by other applications so it's probably best to convert it to something else i.e PCM WAV, MP3, AAC etc using a PC.

I use dbpoweramp to convert audio files but some people use quicktime.

You don't say what phone your wife has but if she doesn't have connection to a PC then you could try transfering the converted file using bluetooth or even send it in an MMS.
