Photo problems on MDA Vario

Hi all.

I changed the storage location for photos and videos taken with my Vario to the storage card. I can't find them anywhere on the storage card after taking photos. The number available to take reduces as I take photos so by that I assume they are actually being saved on the storage card.

I have searched all over the card and done a search for the photos with the search function. Any ideas whats happening?

I have about 20MB free speace on the storage card. It works fine when I take phtoos and save to the phone. The storage card works fine for everything else, ie droping files onto - they show up there.

Cheers.

Storage Card\My Documents\My Pictures

Storage Card\My Documents\My Videos

respectively, are the default locations, so unless you've done some registry editting (which I assume you haven't), that is where they will be. Also, make sure that storage card is still selected in the options, as it has a habit of changing back once the storage card is removed or anything similar.

Thanks for that. I looked in the My Documents Folder on the storage card and there was nothing there. I added a folder and it disappeared ! I added some photos and they disappeared to. I couldnt even create a 'My Pictures' or 'My Videos' folder there. Anything I put in there seemed to dissapear into a black hole ! Anyway I renamed it from My Documents to My Documents 1 and then created a new My Documents Folder with the My Pictures and My Videos within it. That fixed the problem. Photos now show up in the correct My Pictures folder on the storage card. Just wierd how the original My Documents folder on the storage card was a black hole. Everythign I dropped in there seems to have gone. Thanks again for your help Laser Ice.
