flash SP5 AKU2 on top of Orange AKU2

I have upgraded to Orange AKU2 on a C600, but it's a bit slow.

Two questions ...

Is it safe to flash the SP5 NRE AKU2 version on top of the Orange AKU2.

Are there likely to be any advantages.

According to This Thread it is possible, and seems to make it faster and also no more orange logos.. yay

Lat week I installed Orange AKU2 on my C600, and it worked OK, although I found it a little slow.

I received the Orange decert program so I could run non-certified programs OK.

Like others found regedit won't work, but i found a PC based reg editor which will.

So I configured it to my required settings. No problem

Still not satisfied I then installed the I-Mate SP5 NRE AKU2, and I found it to be very very slow.

Regedit now works, but the PC based one does not.

Didn't find any advantage in SP5

I've now re-installed Orange AKU2.

IMHO If you have the prior release to AKU2, and don't need the pull e-mail don't waste your time upgrading.

If you have upgraded to the official release - leave it at that. SP5 will not give you much difference.
