Changing Time Zones Automatically

I love my SP5, but I am surprised that the phone doesn't adjust the time when I turn on the phone after flying into a new city. Am I missing something? A registry setting perhaps?

As far as I know, PDA style phones (Blackberry, Treo, WM) do not update time zones as you travel to prevent corrupting the calendar.

If someone knows better than me, please share. I would love to automatically update the time zone.

I use an applet called city time alarms

it shows two time dispalays on screen your home time and your location time ( both you have to set manual)

but you can set alrms that will sound at the designated time but you can choose that to be your home time or your current locations time.

it does mean setting it up manually before you go but it works brilliently

or alternatively try fizz traveller again same sort of thing but with weather updates and currency converter
