WM5 smartphone registry editor ?

hey all.

i'm after a registry editor for my SP5.

now, i have tried a few before.

the latest one being "Mobile Registry Editor".

this one is good, as i can conenct to my smartphone via windows.

which is what i'm after.

but, the one feature it lacks, which i so desperately need, is a search function.

does anyone know of a registry tool, i can use from my laptop, and can seach the registry of my smartphone ?

i used to be able to do this with Soti Pocket Controller Enterprise.

but it only supports WM2003 devices.

so, i used the Professional version, which does support WM5.

but !

it doesn't have a registry tool at all.

reason i ask is, i need to be able to deploy certain customisations to smartphones.

i want to put an enforced signature on everyones emails that they send.

so, i put a key word in the signature field, under messaging\options\etc etc

the keyword is "arseclown"...just so that i can find it when searching.

searching manually is a very tedious task.

so, please help me !!

you can try regeditSTG. Its smartphone based and works well on my 8310 and c500 with WM5. And It has a search function :)

thanks for that.

but i can't get it to run :/

when i try to copy it over, i get the following message:-

my device has plenty of storage, the file is not read only, and i can copy other .exe files to it.

any ideas ?

Stick it in a zip file, copy it over, then un-zip, problem solved!
