Keep messages in outbox until Signal is found

Does anyone know of a fix or hack such that if I try and send a txt message when there is no signal the phone (WM5) keeps the message in the outbox until the signal is located?

At the moment if I have no signal and I send a txt message it spends a couple seconds trying to send it and then says it has failed and moves it to the drafts which then means I have to manually resend it once I am in an area with a signal.

This small feature is driving me mad and pushing me closer and closer to getting shot of my new phone :)

Count me in for two....this is one of the most annoying things about WM phones. Sony Ericsson and Nokia phones do this already :)

It seems our phones are really smart on some things but completely dumb on others, normally phone functions which are found on all other phones...heh...the irony..

i agree, esp when im underground i have to save it then remember to send, it should just give you the option to send when signal is found.
