Guest kkrull Posted May 30, 2006 Report Posted May 30, 2006 I never use the t9 and T9 key entry methods, but every once in a while I find myself in them by mistake. Is there a registry entry to turn them off? Can I delete their databases or replace them with empty ones in the case I get into them accidentally?

You'd rather press the same key several times and spell each word out letter-by-letter? Why would you WANT to use the slow way?
Guest sporkguy Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 Madness! Even if T9 doesn't know your word you can still make it learn it, then you wont have to type it in the slow way! In my experience, the only people i've ever met who refuse to use T9 are the ones who never fully understood it... :)

Guest corinthian Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 I agree with kkrull on this, bloomin' stupid entry system. I suppose I could make work, but it would be one hell of a lot of work. At least 25% of the words I type don't appear in english dictionaries. Gonna have to get meself a bluetooth keyboard sometime.
