Some Problems With WM5!

I have a few problems with WM5, they are as follows:

1) In IE, I can't set my own home page. I do this in the settings, but it always displays the t-mobile page anyway.

2) In IE I can't use pocket plus's "open link in new window" function. I use the function but it just displays the t-mobile page, not the actual link.

3) In IE when I try to download cab files, it just tries to download "download.htm" instead.

4) In my settings, I have set the power button to turn off display and lock all the keys, but most times when I take my phone out my case and press the power button to turn the display back on and unlock the keys, I find some apps have been opened, or I have accidentally called someone. Why does this happen?

In regards to #4, do you have a mini-SD card at all? I've found that when you have extra storage in your phone, a well positioned "bump" or knock, will bring the phone out of standby... I think it has something to do with the card being moved as if it was taken in/out... However, that might have nothing to do with it.

As for the homepage, it sounds like T-Mobile doesn't want you to change their homepage :) It would definitely be a registry thing... I'll let one of the pro's handle that :)

No 3 is a problem with php - as used on Modaco! Downloading cabs works fine on sites other then Modaco (or, presumeably other sites that use php).

Anyone know if #3 works using Opera?

I fund the dummy mini sd card can cause it to come out of standby, and then apps can be loaded.

I do have the imate ROM though, not the T-Mob one

Does anyone know any registry tweaks that might stop t-mobile holding my PIE to ransom?
