TomTom autostarting on M5000

Hi All,

Another question

How do I stop TomTom from autostarting everytime I soft reset my M5000.

Its as if there is a file in the startup pointing to my Storage Card where TomTom is installed, but I don't know what it is thats running it.

I tried removing the AutoStart exe from the Storage card but this had no effect.

Have you checked the /windows/startup folder on your M5000?

If you're exploring the PPC through activesync you may need to show hidden files and folders to see the windows folder:

Yep check there nothing showing TomTom

All I have managed to find is \Windows\Autorun\Storage Card\autorun

Whats this??

Is it to ensure the Storage card is active or does it look for autoruns on the storage card??

Try renaming the 2577 folder on the storage card to something else and see if that stops the problem.

Just delete the autorun file under the 2577 directory on your storage card - won't affect it in any other way...
