Guest hidde630 Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 Hi Everybody, I'm new here. But maybe somebody could help me? I've just got a hold of an orange spv e100. Now i would like to install Gnuboy and it's not working? I installed the .exe file on the storage card but i can't seem to find the explorer on the phone to locate the file en execute it. The storage card of orange had all sorts of stuff on it including some autorun on which you could install several programs which came with the package. Well i accidently deleted everything on the card (except the gnuboy.exe)...that shouldn't be a problem on locating files that are on the card? help anybody?
Guest hidde630 Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 i also just did a hard reset...let's see what happens
Guest Disco Stu Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 I'm not sure you get a file explorer with the E100 but most owners would go to Binarys.com and get their essential Smart Explorer. Task Manager is equally useful. As for what would have come with the SD card, they would only have been trials which you can easily obtain from Handango, Smartphone.net etc or even the MoDaCo software store - see link above :)
Guest hidde630 Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 thanks for the reply. I tried SmartRun to execute it from my pc explorer, but it gave an error(unable to copy file to smart phone storage card). could this mean the file is corrupted? i've tried several .exe files (different versions) gnuboy_CE_v0.9.13-0.7 gnuboy-1.0.1-win32 gnuboy-1.0.3-win32 or does it mean this program doesn't work on a E100? or maybe my card is f**cked up? maybe you know a different emulator that could play NES games? or a SEGA emulator?
