Guest DrDan007 Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 Hey, I have an M2000 and a Bluetrek G2 Bluetooth Headset. It was only once i paired the two devices that i realised that the M2000 does not have voice dial. Soon i bought Microsoft Voice Control to solve all of my problems. However, i am yet to figure out how to use my bluetooth headset (which is in hands-free mode, set automatically by the M2000) for voice dialing. The manual simply says to press the main button once and talk, 'Dail...' etc. The problem is, I'm using separate software, and it says nothing about working with a headset of any kind. Basically, i need to use my bluetooth headset for voice dialing on my M2000, and any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks, DrDan007
Guest phatphat Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 Hi DrDan, There are BT headsets that have function buttons which when mapped properly, will activate voice command, however the problem with this is that the audio gateway is not activated on the headset by this method, so you still have to direct your voice to the actual handset mic. I have seen on another forum a solution but it does get a little bit involved (reg edits). Let me know if you want the details......
