Profile question need help

ok is it possible to make a change to the profile xml to force a registry change when the profile is selected and revert back to prior setting when unselected

I have a qtek 8310 and what i would like is when i place it in the car cradle for my car kit the car profile is selected and the keyboard light remains lit permenatly until i take it out and the car profile is dismissed

is this at all possible??
