GPRS Troubles

hi all

I upgraded my phone from a c500 to a c600 a few months back and all in all it is a step forward, except the gprs. Im not sure if its a problem with my phone or the network where i live (luton, bedfordshire) but alot of web pages either load very slowly compared to my old 500 or they just dont load at all.

for example i was trying to get too google yesterday to perform a search and it would go "locating page" then "opening page" but there it would stop, no loading bar. nothing :) so i gave up after 10 mins of trying different pages

the problm seems to be random as other times pages load reasonably quick (under 30 secs) so i am curious if anyone else suffers these slowdowns (ie its network related) or if it a problem local to my device and wonder if anyone could suggest some performance tips (images allready off :) )
