Is anybody have problems after updating to O2's push mail rom upgrade?

The worst problem is the phone will no longer ring, it constantly resets to lowest volume settings, no matter what I do.

Secondly the phone will sometimes make a screaming high pitched noise when you try and dial out, or sometimes when you answer incoming calls. This is a very loud noise.

Anybody else?

No idea about your second problem, but for the first one go and check if your set the ring style to vibrate only, did that on my MDA PRO and was confused until I set it back to ring and vibrate. Before I changed back no matter what I did to the ringer volume it went back to zero volume by itself.

Unless I'm missing an obvious setting, it really does appear that even though the phone is set to ring mode, the slide bar which controls ring volume returns to the bottom as soon as the popup closes - exactly like if it was in vibrate mode, but it's not!

Try setting it to vibrate only, soft reset and then set it to ring and vibrate to see if that cures the problem. If that doesn't work then try applying the update to it again in case something wierd happened last time.
