Adding menuitem problem

Hi, I am writing an application with menuitems on the left hand side of the main menu but it returns a deployment error. I have read the following post:

and learn that menuitems cannot be added to the left key. May I know if it is because of the .net compact framework problem? I have saw other applications that there are menuitems on the left key. Is there any workaround to add menu items on the left with the .net compact framework?

its not a problem with .NET but rather how the OS is designed.

the menuitems MUST be on the right hand side - end of :)

It was also designed as most users would use the key closer to their fingers (the right hand key) than for them to stretch their thumb over to the left hand key - usability
