Converting videos.

im following the sticky link by chris benjamin and i cant seem to get any furthur than about step 3. ive got loads of .mpegs on my computer and want to convert them into suitable format for my spv. however when you go onto browse the file you want to convert it doesnt see any of my mpegs as suitable file types. i then change it to see all files, select my mpeg, then it says that it is not a supported file type!

someone please help!
