Guest EvilDaz Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 (edited) Hi You will need to convert your sound to a WAV file, I use freerip, its free :) http://www.mgshareware.com/frmmain.shtml Now transfer it to the "/Windows" Directory on your device . It should now be visible in the the drop down box you choose the sounds from. Let me know if it works OK. Daz :) Edited June 6, 2006 by EvilDaz
Guest chucky.egg Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 That works for Reminders, but not for Alarms IIRC Go into the Alarms settings (in Control Panel, Clock and Alarms) then tap on the bell icon next to the alarm to change the tone, repeats etc.
Guest EvilDaz Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 That works for Reminders, but not for Alarms IIRC Go into the Alarms settings (in Control Panel, Clock and Alarms) then tap on the bell icon next to the alarm to change the tone, repeats etc. It works for me. If the WAV file is in the Windows directory and I tap the bell icon next to the alarm, as you say, I can now choose any of theWAV sound files I installed into the windows directory as well as the windows defaults. Is this not what Kimbie was asking for???
Guest mavisdavis Posted June 11, 2006 Report Posted June 11, 2006 I personally use Chronos alarm app which is ace. get it from HERE Very good :) :)
