c500 internet sites, * error * sorry the requested item is too large to be loaded !

I have recently got two spv c500 phones, unlocked and using them on the o2 payandgo (300 text) tarriff !! They both have exactly the same gprs/mms/internet settings but on one of them, when I go to certain web sites this error message appears, on the other phone the web site is as it should be!!!

Message :-

* error * sorry the requested item is too large to be loaded !

Hmm, first time I heard of that.. You should go into the internet explorer settings and clear the history and all temporary internet files because its possible those have gotten too high.

Also, make sure all the other settings are okay in internet explorer, check out the view settings etc.

Other then that I can't think of nothing else..

To isolate the problem, identify what's different between the two phones. Do they have the same set of applications installed? See how much storage space and memory you have free (available) on both phones when you browse to the problem web sites. You can check this in Settings -> About and Settings -> System Information. If you have Smart Monitor plugin, that will make it easier to do these checks.

Also, do you have your Temporary Internet Files on the storage card or the device storage?

Hi Stewy, Is there any chance you could post the setting that you have for the mms etc etc. I have yried all sorts and i cannot surf the net or use msn messenger with this phone. Here's hoping
