Guest SimonJackson Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Hi, I am a newbie and think the kowledge on this board is great...So I have a question. I have seen the entries for speeding up my Jamin and have seen some of these are registry entries. I don't seem to have a regedit program on my Jamin. I have the latest WWE update. Can someonetell me how I make registry changes or where I can get a copy of a reg editor for free? Many Thanks, Simon.
Guest chucky.egg Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Welcome to the forums! If you want a registry editor you could try PHM Registry Editor for PPC. I dont have a link to hand, but you can find it with Google Personally I use Resco File Explorer (which is a great replacement for the built-in File Explorer, but costs money) which has a Registry Editor, FTP Client and Today plugin as free options. If you just want to apply the changes without having to mess with the registry by hand you can use the attached CAB files: 1. unzip the attachment, 2. copy the enclosed CAB files to your device, 3. on your device open the CAB files and install them (they're tiny so you can install to the Device)WM5_speedup_tweaks.zip

I will get one of the two editors. I have chosen to install the cab files you have provided but they said that they were written for another version of the OS. I have WM5 so I am hoping all will be good. Once again, thanks, Simon.
Guest chucky.egg Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Yeah, they'll be fine on WM5 They're on my Prophet (same as your JAMin) and Wizard right now
