I am looking for a collection of the file names of the background images to "confirm" screen, "error" screen, etc.. I see it in the JDskins.com - full themes with cool pictures in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. How do I implement this in my homescreen, eg if I want to import some of these pictures in my own design? Are there template rules for what names there pictures must have and where they should be located on the phone memory?

The file names themselves don't matter, because they are stored in the registry. The registry key is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Rai. Under this key you will see a number of keys which correspond to various screens. In those keys, there will be values for background images. You can store those pictures anywhere, but it is probably better to store them on phone storage (as opposed to storage card).

This information is for older versions of the operating system, so some of the paths will be outdated, but the general idea works for WM5.
