Guest xxbloodxx4 Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 apparently no one in this forum answers any of the good questions either.. i'd love to know how to get this to work.. maybe using windows media encoder 9 series i get it to stream and can listen on my laptop but when i put the server url in the mobile media player i get a parameter incorrect error
Guest fraser Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 If you can browse the files in file explorer kimbie, then they should just play without any problems. Try using a different player e.g. Mortplayer. If you have access to a linux box there are many media servers you can run that stream OK as well. Dunno anything about Windows Media Encoder I'm afraid.
Guest Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 Ive got an M600 aswell. What did you use to get it to connect with the computer over wi-fi. Tried using wi-fi tunes but it says that the device hasn't got enough memory to stream the music even though I have a reasnoably big card in the device. Wierd!
Guest Kimbie Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 In the end i uing TCMP since this seems to work, a pain i cant use media player though. Just need to convert most of my video media to pocket pc friendly Kimbie
