Guest Amit Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 I have just upgraded my phone from a sony ericsson p910 to an orange spv. I have a legal copy of tom tom on my old phone that i want to transfer to my new phone. I have spoken to tomtom about this and they said they can provide me a new activation key if I provide them proof of upgrade and the new device code.. Thats all great.. but how do I transfer the software from my old phone to the new one? I am not convinced that I can just copy the UIQ version on to a mini sd card and slap it in my spv. Any thoughts?
Guest Shuflie Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 Don't tomtom have a support section on their website that you can download the latest version of the application software from? AFAIK the activation code that they would send you is actually for the maps you have, not the application.

I spoke to them again today.. and apparently I have to buy a new copy for the spv.. because the one i bought is only licensed for the P910. What a bunch of crap :) Amit
