Problems installing Microsoft .NET 2.0

I have a new Qtek 9100... I am trying to install:-

"Date Time Calculator by CJCraft.com"

I'm told by the Author my installation errors are happening because I need to install Microsoft .Net 2.0

However when I try to install .NET 2.0 I get this error:-

When the .net cf 2.0 is installing its reporting error:-

"Installation error. Stop all applications and processes, maximize

available storage space, and run installation again. Support info: 4"

The software author has asked me to see if there is a firmware update for my Qtek 9100.... Can anybody tell me where I can find out please or possibly why I might be getting these issues?
